The Bible never contradicts itself. Those who say it does haven’t truly studied it!
To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20 Christian theology maintains that God does not contradict His own character or truth. Any teaching that contrudicts the word of God it does not come from God. The Bible directly addresses this behavior. [2 Timothy 4:3-4] states that a time comes when people will not listen to true teaching. Instead, they follow their own desires and look for teachers who tell them only what they want to hear. Timothy 4:3-4: People turn away from the truth. They listen to their own wishes and find teachers who scratch their itchy ears with pleasing words. Isaiah 30:10: People tell God's prophets to stop speaking the truth. They demand pleasant words and illusions instead. Matthew 13:13-15: Jesus explains that some people look but do not see, and listen but do not understand, because their hearts are closed. . Jeremiah 5:21: God speaks to a foolish people who have eyes but do not see, and ears but do not hear. Why People Do It? Pride: People prefer their own ideas over God's commands. Comfort: Hard truths require change, but pleasing messages let people stay as they are. Control: Choosing a "teacher" who agrees with personal sin makes people feel justified. What controls you becomes your master!
